I want to go camping!

Shirt: LOFT - Roll Sleeve Camp Shirt in XSP
Shorts: Forever 21
Belt: Ann Taylor - Skinny Patent Leather Belt
Necklace: LOFT Two-Tone Colorblock Bead Necklace

It has been ridiculously hot these days except for today - Sunny and in the mid 70s with a nice breeze. So happy I could wear it so soon after I ordered it! I thought I had to wait until fall...I love this shirt! I guess it would've been better if it was XXSP, but since it is suppose to be loose fitting this is not a problem. It is also a bit sheer (if you put your hand behind the fabric you can see it - see image below) but with the right undergarment (nude) it should be fine.

As seen from previous posts, I usually wear the J.Crew flower pendant and I rarely buy necklaces. I got this so I could get the free shipping and ended up keeping it because 1. I really liked the color and sparkly-ness of the beads 2. I have a lot of coral/pink in my wardrobe 3. It was only $6!

White Lace and Ruffles

tank: edc by espirit | cardigan, belt: j.crew | shorts: f21 | flip flops: martin & osa

Darn! I missed the deadline for Everybody Everwear - Lace. Anyway, here is my outfit that I would've posted on it. I got this tank from edc by espirit in China 5 years ago and I haven't wore this tank in a long time. I really like the look of lace hems because it makes the shirt more feminine yet it is not overpowering.

I went to a Thai restaurant in town this week for Restaurant Week and it was decent. I got Thai iced tea (delicious!), spring roll, and drunken noodles  (a little bit too much salt and too spicy for me). Overall I would give it a three star because the price was pretty good ($8 for everything).
I may go back to this place just for their drinks...haha.

For today, goodbye. For tomorrow, good luck. Forever, Go Blue!

I do not own a lot of school spirited apparel, but since I am graduating I thought I would buy myself at least one that I will actually want to wear. Picked up this tee on the way to my last study group...it fits better than most of the other tees I have seen.

Sunny Days

tee, cardigan, belt: j. crew | shorts: f21 | tights: betsy johnson | boots: michael kors

michigan weather is insane...its totally normal to experience all four seasons in one month.

i've been trying to find something new to add to my wardrobe for spring,  a floral printed scarf, dress, or skirt...but so far, i have yet to come across one that i really like. there are some pieces on forever 21 that aren't bad, but with that store, you never know about the quality (i know, none of these are really floral):

a weekend in november

I went to the farmer's market this weekend and had lunch at Kosmos again. It's so good!! Especially their special 'tempura' dish + really good sauce.  I forget the name, but it's SO amazing.

Sunday - had brunch with old friends @ Sabor Latino? Food wasn't that great, service was not good...but an awesome group of people!

On a more serious note. I made my first loan on kiva.org yesterday to a woman in the Phillippines who needs money to purchase material for her tailor business. If you do not know what Kiva is, you should definitely go check it out. I understand that you are not loaning to the people directly...instead, the loan to the institution that they borrow from and helps backfill the loan. So I guess the loan goes to the institution to help them give out the loans to the people. Anyway! Hopefully I get repaid from this loan so I can re-loan.

23 * 24

Oh, and I returned the JCrew Ever Peacoat...the shape was not very flattering (the website lied...). Instead, I got the Stadium Cloth Elements Coat. I really like it. (It looks too big on me in the pictures though). I especially like how the hood doesn't stick out that much.

I really suck at writing in this blog...but a picture is worth a thousand words, right? :)

Happy Mid-autumn Festival!
Miniature mooncake from Lola.

Alright. Today's weather was ridiculously warm...so of course I stopped by Starbucks when I was going to meet Clare and work my way towards my personalized gold card (only 4 more stars needed! I think).

I am starting to get lazy (can you tell?) with mix/matching items of clothing and it's only day 6.
